Showjumper/hunter/all-rounder for sale

Gio is a willing 15-year-old gelding. I have ridden drag hunts with him for 3 seasons, done practice cross-country and jumped. He has a very nice character and prefers being outdoors. You can go on hacks with him alone. He is bred for showjumping and loves jumping. Unfortunately, due to a back injury, I can no longer ride, and certainly cannot jump. That is what he loves doing most. Gio has been with me since he was 7 years old, when he was newly backed. I am looking for a home for him where someone can still enjoy working with him and give him the attention and exercise he needs. Gio is well-behaved with the farrier, vet, on the trailer, in hand and is also familiar with groundwork. He has always been properly vaccinated, wormed and seen by the dentist. Pre-purchase exam is allowed at buyer's expense. Dealers need not apply. Gio will only go to a home where he gets plenty of turnout and is handled with care. A golden home is more important than the price. Gio is not suitable for a beginner rider due to his spirit.
