Beaufort van het Roversnest

Beaufort descends via his dam Gracieuse from the prominent BWP damline 66. Gracieuse, a half-sister to Obourg, is a daughter of the influential foundation mare Jusquiame de Champenotte—a true eye-catcher within this line. From Jusquiame come, among others, the BWP elite stallion Obourg (1m50 level, Yves Vanderhasselt), the approved stallion Averal (1m50 level, Clark Glasgow), the elite mare Brillante (1m45 level, Harrie Smolders) and Honfleur (1m45 level, Koenraad Bauters). This strong family has also produced several international sport horses, such as Etoile van de Neerheide, Leader van de Neerheide, Nesquick Optimus and Unestar d’Ysenbeeck.

On the sire's side, Beaufort is a son of Bon Ami, Eric Wauters' former top horse, with whom he competed in the Olympic Games.
