Top New Forest schoolmaster, ZZ-licht level

Super schoolmaster (gelding) who is ready to achieve the highest level with a new rider!

Heihoeve's Florencio is a 10-year-old New Forest pony gelding. He was an approved breeding stallion with the Dutch New Forest pony studbook. He holds the ster and prestatie dekhengst predicates. He was castrated on 6 November 2025, and the castration went well without complications.

Florencio is sired by Lomansheide Brent x Kantje's Ronaldo x Priory Prickle. He was measured at 1.48 m at 8 years old.

Florencio is exceptionally well trained. He is currently competing successfully at ZZ-licht level dressage among horses. We have already achieved 6 points in ZZ-licht. Florencio has progressed through all classes starting from L1. He masters all FEI movements, plus flying lead changes and half-pirouettes. Florencio responds well to the aids, he is well-behaved yet alert. Florencio is super nice and easy to ride and gives a safe feeling. He won't let you down in the ring and always does his best. He is ready to shine under a talented pony rider in FEI dressage.

Florencio is also a very good jumper. He jumps with great technique and shows plenty of scope. He really enjoys jumping. He is easy to ride while jumping and gives a safe feeling.

Florencio is easy to handle, travels easily, is well-behaved at the farrier, during clipping and with the vet. He is easy to load onto the trailer and/or lorry. He travels exceptionally well and remains very calm on the truck when at venues.

He is treated twice a year by the equine dentist and checked/treated by the physio. In addition, he is always vaccinated and wormed on time.

He underwent an extensive radiological inspection in November 2024 and was approved for sport including back and neck, X-rays available. Re-inspection is permitted, at buyer's expense.

Florencio has been in my possession since he was a foal, has no history of injuries and has never even been sick. He is completely free of stable vices or other defects. His entire history is known to me.

My preference goes to an ambitious pony rider with good coaching who has high sport ambitions. Florencio is not a pony to just stand in the paddock without sport ambitions, he enjoys going to competitions too much for that. He enjoys attention immensely and will always do his best for you. He won't let you down in the ring.
