Calippo van de Meerhoeven – honest gelding with a fine attitude | nice all-rounder

With a heavy heart, I am offering my 8-year-old gelding Calippo van de Meerhoeven for sale. He is a friendly and honest horse that is exceptionally well-behaved and reliable in handling. He is good with the farrier, vet, and dentist, and is social in the herd here.

Calippo is backed and went through this process calmly and neatly. Under saddle, he is willing to work and shows a fine attitude. He enjoys jumping and takes to it enthusiastically. He also goes on hackings/trail rides, which works best together with another horse, but he can also lead.

He is most suitable for a rider who can give him clarity and confidence. Therefore, he is less suitable for beginners, but very nice for someone who wants to work further with him and build a bond.
In the past, he passed a clinical and radiological pre-purchase exam. He has comments, but this is no impediment under saddle.
Due to circumstances, he has done less for a period, so riding and training need to be picked up again.

Trailer loading is still exciting for him and requires further training.
