Calippo van de Meerhoeven – honest gelding with a great attitude | lovely all-rounder

It is with a heavy heart that I am offering my 7-year-old gelding Calippo van de Meerhoeven for sale. He is a friendly and honest horse that is incredibly well-behaved and reliable in hand. He is good for the farrier, vet, and dentist and is social within the herd.

Calippo is backed and has gone through this process calmly and correctly. Under saddle, he is willing to work and shows a fine attitude. He enjoys jumping and takes this up enthusiastically. He also enjoys hacking; this goes best together with another horse, but he can also lead professionally.

He is most suitable for a rider who can provide him with clarity and confidence. Therefore, he is less suitable for beginners, but instead great for someone who wants to continue working with him and build a bond.
In the past, he has passed a clinical and X-ray examination. He has some findings, but these are not a hindrance under saddle.
Due to circumstances, he has had a period of doing less, which means that riding and training need to be picked up again.

Trailer loading is still exciting for him and requires further training.
