For Sale: A gorgeous Roan B pony (Welsh)! Bixie or sport

Essie is an 11-year-old mare and is currently jumping 70 cm. She goes well on the flat and our son started working with her in this over the last half year. This 2026 outdoor season he became district champion and they were allowed to advance together to the Overijssel championships! A wonderful experience for a 9-year-old boy.

With a judge's comment: "truly a very good pony, lots of movement in all three gaits" this also promises something great for a young dressage rider.

We bought her as a bixie pony and she had only been backed for a short time then. We brought her further to a sport pony. Essie is forward-going, while being easy to steer and listening to the aids given.

She gets an annual dental check and is also well-behaved with the farrier.

Our son has won the Overijssel championships several times in showjumping and was even allowed to advance to the Dutch championships.

She is a true lady who always tries her best for you. She is forward-going and always jumps. Essie loves to work for you as a rider, but also adapts to the beginner rider. If the stride doesn't work out, she takes an extra step. If you are close to the fence, she jumps higher. Results from KNHS can be shared via app.

Do you want to go cross-country with her? She has also gained basic experience in this.

For us she is a golden pony whom we gladly wish to give to the next rider who wants to progress in pony riding.
