Picara Blue Z (“Pica”) – an exceptionally sweet all-round horse is looking for her perfect match ❤️

With a heavy heart, I have decided to find a new home for my 10-year-old mare Picara Blue Z, whom I always call Pica.

I didn't make this decision lightly. Pica is a true heart horse for me. I want her to find someone who can give her the attention, love, and trust she deserves.

Pica is a curious, smart, and incredibly eager-to-learn mare. She loves working together with her rider and picks up new things quickly. She is very human-oriented, loves attention, and builds a strong bond with her owner. She is a horse you can truly grow with together.

Before I bought her, Pica first had a foal. Therefore, she was only backed at the age of five. I bought her directly from the breeder at the time and then backed and trained her myself. We have learned and experienced everything together, which is why I know her inside out.

Pica is a real all-rounder. In dressage, she is nice, light on the aids, and easy to ride. She has three lovely gaits and enjoys working for her rider. She was even ridden with great pleasure by an 11-year-old girl.

She also loves hacking out. She is familiar with long rides through the woods and over fields, walks calmly along busy roads, and crosses roads without any problems. A lovely canter across a stubble field is pure enjoyment for her.

In jumping, Pica shows what she is capable of. She competes at 1.10 m level and jumps 1.20 m at home in training with ease. She definitely has potential for higher classes. During jumping, she can become enthusiastic and sometimes a bit strong. Therefore, in this discipline, she is looking for a rider who gives her calm, confidence, and clarity. Once she feels that security, she jumps honestly, with plenty of scope and pleasure.

In the stable, Pica is an easy and well-behaved horse. She stands quietly during grooming, is good with the farrier, can be clipped and loaded without problems, and travels calmly in the trailer. She is used to being with other horses in a small herd in the pasture and is social there as well.

To me, Pica is much more than just a sport horse. She is a companion, a horse with character, a big heart, and a golden attitude. That is why I am not looking for a quick buyer, but for the right person. Someone who will give her a loving home and wants to form a real team with her.
