With a heavy heart, I am offering my home-bred mare Remi (Jamerson x Cachet), born in March 2021, for sale. She will only go to a suitable and loving home.

Remi was born and raised with us and has been handled daily since she was a foal. Because she was never trained with the goal of a quick sale, she was given all the time needed to develop calmly both physically and mentally. As a result, she has grown into an honest, reliable mare with a solid foundation.

She was deliberately backed a bit later. In her first year under the saddle, the emphasis was entirely on hacking out and gaining experience. Only after that did we start with dressage work. In addition, a lot of attention has been paid to groundwork. Thanks to this calm training, Remi is incredibly well-behaved away from home, traffic-safe, and sensible. New environments or unfamiliar situations do not easily impress her, and she is pleasant and easy to handle.

Remi is a special mare with a golden character, an appealing conformation, and three high-quality paces. She moves with a lot of suppleness and has a natural aptitude for dressage. In addition, she has sufficient blood and 'go', making her nicely forward-going and eager to work for her rider. She is, however, a sensitive horse and therefore comes into her own best with a quiet, consistent rider who gives her confidence.

I do want to mention honestly that Remi has a condition that makes her sensitive to sugars. Therefore, she is on a low-sugar diet. She does not get hayage and certain concentrates. With the right management, she has no problems with this. In addition, it is important that she is exercised regularly; when she stands still for a longer period of time, she can become a bit stiff and tight in her body. For this reason, the asking price has been adjusted accordingly.

For Remi, I am looking for someone who knows how to appreciate her qualities and gives her the time and attention she deserves. A good and permanent home is much more important to me than a quick sale.
