QUELLE PERLE - MARE - 10 YEARS - JAGUAR MAIL
Description
It is with a heavy heart that I offer my mare Quelle Perle, better known to us as Parel, for sale. Her nickname says it all: to us, she is and remains a true pearl.
Parel turned 10 years old at the end of June 2026 and still has a wonderful future ahead of her. I have owned her since she was 4.5 years old and know her complete history. She has received the best care her whole life and has always stayed in a 5-star home. Her health has always come first: annual checks by the dentist, osteopath, and other necessary care were always meticulously followed up.
She is fully healthy, with no vices or flaws. X-rays of her legs are available, and new X-rays can of course be taken if desired.
Parel is a horse with character and is not suitable for a beginner. She has a lot of energy, perseverance, and a slightly nervous disposition, which means she needs a confident rider who can handle this. In the right hands, however, she gives so much back.
She is ridden in both dressage and showjumping, although her heart clearly lies in jumping. Over the years, I have always competed her in LRV competitions as well as a few VLP competitions, so she has gained plenty of show experience.
The reason for sale is entirely down to me and certainly not to her. Parel is a horse that loves to jump, whereas my own ambition and interest in showjumping have decreased. Furthermore, my university studies demand more and more time, meaning I can no longer give her the attention, training, and opportunities she deserves. I find that very unfortunate, as I am convinced she still has enormous potential. Currently, I am not tapping into that potential, which is why I want to see her go to a rider who can further develop her talent and let her truly shine.
I am therefore looking for a warm, experienced home where Parel gets every opportunity to grow further and where she can do what she loves most. For the right rider, she will undoubtedly be a fantastic partner.
