Promising 3-year-old dressage gelding

Tommy is a dark bay 3-year-old dressage gelding (born June 2023) with a very interesting pedigree: Fürst Jazz x De Niro x Don Frederico.

Tommy is a quality young horse with three correct paces. He possesses a lot of natural balance, a powerful hind leg, plenty of push and an appealing way of moving. He shows that he easily moves through his body and possesses a lot of suppleness and body elasticity, qualities that give him great potential for dressage sport. In addition, during free jumping he shows good technique, scope and attitude, making him versatile as well.

I bought Tommy when he was about six months old. Since then he has grown up with us at home, where he has always been under close supervision and received a lot of daily attention and care. As a result, he has been handled a lot and is used to the daily routine.

In handling, Tommy is curious, people-oriented and affectionate. He visibly enjoys attention, grooming and cuddles and likes to seek contact with people. In addition, he has an honest character with a slight mischievous edge fitting for a young horse of his age.

Tommy is familiar with the basics of groundwork and lunging, stands quietly tied on the grooming area and is well-behaved at the farrier. About three to four months ago he was gelded, from which he made a full and problem-free recovery. He has been given all the time to develop quietly both physically and mentally and has grown up healthy.

On the dam's side we find the influential De Niro, for years one of the leading dressage sires in the world. His offspring perform internationally at Grand Prix level and are known for their power, attitude, willingness to work and talent for collection. The combination of Fürst Jazz with the proven De Niro and Don Frederico bloodline makes Tommy a particularly interesting horse for the future.
