Ivresse competes successfully at 1.10 m showjumping and is L-class in dressage. She has also gained her first experience in eventing/cross-country, which she takes to tremendously well and in which she shows a lot of potential!

She has a lot of scope and gives a very nice feel over fences.

Ivresse has been in training with us for a number of weeks now, giving us the opportunity to get to know her well ourselves. We have jumped her in various situations and gradually built the fences higher. With us she has shown no inclination to stop whatsoever and even when the fences go up, she keeps jumping with full confidence. She feels honest and capable and gives us a very good feel over fences.

We do want to be transparent about one point from her competition past. At showjumping competitions she can occasionally get a bit distracted or lose some confidence due to something unexpected in her surroundings. On such moments she benefits from a confident rider who keeps her attention on the job. With every competition she feels more and more at ease and becomes more confident in the competition environment. What is notable is that the fences themselves do not seem to be the issue; she is not spooky about jumps and at home and in training she jumps with a lot of confidence.

In handling Ivresse is sweet and level-headed and also nice for children to ride and care for. She hacks well with different horses, can be ridden bareback and is a tremendously nice pony to have around.
