Wanna Dance is a son of Just Wimphof (De Niro x Riccione x Sandro Hit) who now competes at Grand Prix level in dressage and already has several offspring competing at a high level in dressage.

His dam, the elite mare Hariscalina, participated as a foal and as a three-year-old in the National Mare Inspection in Ermelo. In the test and at the inspection her movements were awarded with high scores. Her full sister was competed up to and including Z-class dressage at a young age. In addition, her dam Briscalina produced several horses that now compete in Z-class dressage abroad. The dam line of Wanna Dance has produced multiple good inspection horses and sport horses at Z-level and higher, including the Grand Prix horse Uniek.

Grandsire Johnson was the top horse of Hans Peter Minderhoud for years and has topped the WBFSH ranking for years as the best dressage sire in the world.
