Picasso (van Gogh x Riverman)

Picasso is a young gelding with potential and a very sweet character. On the ground he is friendly, affectionate and loves attention and cuddles. He is not a fiery horse. X-rayed and clinically approved in 2024. Documentation and photos available. Re-inspection is possible, but costs are for the buyer.

Under saddle, Picasso is a horse that comes into his own best with a clear, consistent and experienced rider. He needs someone who provides leadership and offers him confidence and guidance.
Picasso is currently working on the following in training at home, among other things:
• leg-yielding
• shoulder-in / travers
• rein-back
• beginning pirouettes
• collection
• he is green with flying changes

He enjoys going out into the woods. Due to enthusiasm he can sometimes throw in a buck there. In traffic he is reasonably well-behaved, but heavy traffic such as tractors he still finds exciting.
Also practically, Picasso is nice to handle. He is well-behaved with the farrier, dentist and loads nicely onto the trailer. He can be loaded alone and walks onto it himself. When the trailer is stationary, for example at a competition, he can become impatient and starts pawing.

Picasso is definitely a horse with potential, but not a horse that can be described as 'suitable for everyone'. If a rider doesn't put him to work, he will slack off. When he is well on the leg he is a fine horse to work with. A clear, experienced rider who wants to train him further and grow with him in the sport fits best!

For the right person he can become an incredibly fine partner. For a 5* home the price is negotiable
