Habibi - Florencio x Johnson - a super handsome and super sweet mare

Unfortunately, with a heavy heart, I am selling Habibi due to having a young family and no longer being able to pursue our ambitions in equestrian sports.

Habibi is a horse I bought at 2 years of age from the breeder where I was backing all the 3-year-olds at the time. I backed her at 4 years of age. So she has actually been in my possession right from the start. I have ridden her with great pleasure and she holds a special place in my heart.

Habibi is competing at Z level and all the buttons are there. She is a horse with a lot of quality, a strong work ethic and presence, and she loves being kept busy. She also enjoys a hack out every now and then. Alongside her qualities under saddle, Habibi is wonderfully pleasant to handle. She is social, has no stable vices and is very sweet and easy to handle. She is also lovely and reliable with children. She is truly a cuddly horse that loves attention.

In short: a special horse for someone looking for a fine, talented mare to grow with further together and achieve great performances. Definitely a horse for the transition from pony to horse.

Habibi has been radiographically approved for sport, with a minor remark. Of course, I am happy to tell serious interested parties more about this (re-examination at buyer's expense). In addition, she has been well maintained (annually) by the equine dentist, osteopath (Margreet Lameris) and farrier. Treated by Margreet again in July and Aug '26.
