Handsome buckskin New Forest pony mare

It is with mixed feelings that we are looking for a new, wonderful home for our handsome, talented buckskin New Forest mare. A true dressage star.

She has had 1 foal in the past, competed at Z2-dressuur with her previous owner and jumped 0.90m in the past.

She has very good manners, is very pleasant to handle, easy to load, and very relaxed on the trailer. Well-behaved under saddle too, can be a bit spooky, but an experienced rider easily rides through that. Due to her alertness, she makes the best combination with an experienced rider.

In terms of dressage, our 11-year-old daughter gets along with her very well. She has really grown in that regard thanks to the pony. Showjumping, on the other hand, is not clicking. The pony likes jumping and finds it very exciting at the same time, and therefore needs an experienced rider who gives her confidence. Our daughter cannot provide her with that stability and security. That is where the shoe pinches here, because our daughter would love to jump.

Pony moves very well, has 3 good paces including an outstanding extended trot.

Her vaccinations are up to date, she is exceptionally well-behaved at the farrier and also social with our other horse (not dominant). She is very content both in the stable and in the field. Here she has also stayed outside at night in the summer, which she liked just fine.

We had her clinically examined upon purchase. Approved. Re-inspection is allowed at buyer's expense.
All other inspections allowed at buyer's expense.

The price includes her very nice Busse dressage saddle (made to measure for her), as well as her good thick winter rug with neck cover and fly rug.
