Beautiful and talented Friesian gelding – Z1 dressage with Subtop potential

It is with a heavy heart that I offer my 8-year-old Friesian (sport) gelding Guds for sale (Jehannes 484 x Stendert 447). Guds stands 1.70 m tall and with his lovely long mane and luxurious build, he is a stunning horse to look at. Guds has an extremely well-moving hind leg, showing a great deal of talent for the piaffe, which he also does very easily. Guds has competed at Z1 and has 19 win points in this class; in February he competed in the final at the regional championships and finished 6th. In 2024 he became champion in M1 during the KFPS Friesian competition. Due to circumstances he has not been shown in recent months; Guds is currently being further trained and masters many exercises for the subtop and performs green flying changes. In short, a horse with a lot of potential to go higher! Guds was also broken to drive in the past, but nothing has been done with this for the past 1.5 years.

Guds is a social and calm horse to handle, he is turned out daily with other horses in the pasture or paddock. He is well-behaved at the farrier and is easy to load alone, both on the horse trailer and in a small horse lorry. When ridden he is honest and well-behaved, but has plenty of go and is eager to work for you, which makes him unsuitable for a "true" beginner. I would love to see him with a sensitive rider who wants to guide him further and make the most of his talents.

Guds passed a clinical and radiological inspection for sport in 2023.
