Description
✨ For sale: Zanzibar van Orchid’s ✨
It is with great pleasure that we offer our lovely Zanzibar van Orchid’s for sale.
🦄 Zanzibar van Orchid’s
• Gelding
• Palomino
• Born: 21-04-2021
• Height: 1.48 m
• NRPS × New Forest
Zanzibar is a handsome, athletic, and promising young pony with a fine appearance and a nice, strong build. He features an interesting pedigree and shows great potential for both dressage and showjumping.
🏇 Training
Zanzibar currently knows how to lunge and has experience with a small saddle on his back. He does all of this very well-behaved and picks up new things quickly.
He has deliberately not been broken in yet. We chose to give him the time to grow physically and allow his back and joints to develop sufficiently. Now that he is 5 years old, we think this is a great moment to continue his training.
Therefore, we are looking for someone for Zanzibar who enjoys working with a young pony, training him further, teaching him new things, and ultimately shaping him to your own hand.
If Zanzibar is not sold, we will continue his training ourselves.
🏆 Showjumping & dressage
During free jumping, Zanzibar shows a powerful jump and easily goes over fences. He has a nice technique and appears to have a lot of aptitude for showjumping.
He also shows promising qualities for dressage. He moves with a powerful front leg and has strong hindquarters, which makes us see great potential in dressage as well.
In addition, Zanzibar already has one offspring, which is currently walking around with us.
🧬 Pedigree
Sire: Zapp VR
• 1.48 m

Zapp VR is known for his good character, willingness to work, and versatility. He has proven himself in multiple disciplines and was praised by his riders for his fine character and attitude.
Zapp VR has performed at Z1-level dressage, Z-class showjumping, and international eventing level, and has also won a silver medal at the Dutch National Eventing Championships.

❤️ What kind of home are we looking for?
We are looking for a serious and wonderful home for Zanzibar where someone enjoys training a young pony.
At the moment, he is not yet suitable for someone looking for a fully trained pony, but he is extremely interesting for someone who enjoys training a pony together and building a great future.
With his age, character, pedigree, movement, and jumping ability, we see Zanzibar as a pony with great potential for the future.
📍 Viewing is of course possible.
With serious interest, we are happy to tell you more about Zanzibar and his character, training, and possibilities.
