Description
Emerald van 't Ruytershof needs little introduction. Ridden by Harrie Smolders, this son of Diamant de Semilly won the 1.60m Grand Prix at CSI5*-W Bordeaux and Chantilly, and finished second in the overall standings of the 2016 World Cup final. He is a BWP ambassador. His dam Carthina Z (s.Carthago) competed at 1.45m level. Daughter Saphire is registered in the studbook, completed her EPTM test and holds the prok and D-OC predicates.
Dam D-Cosma is a Holsteiner mare by the 1.60m stallion Corrado I out of Stamm 18A2 and has produced eight offspring. This line features the approved stallions Linaro (s.Landgraf I) and Carambo van de Helle (s.Carolus I), a 1.50m horse, both sons of fourth dam Tamara. Tamara's daughter Fiona VI, Staatsprämie, produced the 1.60m horse Teutonia MCF (s.Coriano) ridden by Hans Thorben Ruder and is the grandam of Cassidy 35 (s.Cassini I), also jumping at 1.60m.
Saphire is in foal to Don Quidam (s.Donthargos), an NRPS-approved KWPN stallion from 2021 out of a dam by Quidam de Revel. D-Cosma already produced a filly by him in 2025, V-Donqui.
