Big friend looking for 5* home

It breaks my heart to look for a new 5-star home for Matz.

Some brief info about Matz:
- KWPN gelding
- 9 years old
- 1.80 meter
- B level
- Good papers
- Asking price 4500
- No pre-purchase exam available.
- He has stringhalt.

Matz is a friendly, affectionate horse with a gentle character. He loves attention and cuddles. He walks nicely on the lead rope and stands quietly in the cross-ties. Well-behaved with the vet. Matz's vaccinations and deworming treatments are up to date. Matz is ridden and knows ground work and lunging. Under the right rider, Matz has a lot of potential.
He is willing to work and you can still go in any direction with him. Walk and trot are well established. Canter is a bit less good because I have become anxious due to my own inability. I am too inexperienced to ride/train Matz further despite the lessons I take. My feeling of anxiety gets in the way for both of us. He is not to blame for this. I think that if he is ridden (on) by an experienced person, he will perform brilliantly.

Matz has stringhalt in his hind legs. He only suffers from this at the farrier. He tries very hard but goes into stringhalt. He also does this when picking out his hooves. While riding he does not suffer from this.

The price is negotiable for a good home.
For an additional price: for 2000 euro you can buy his saddle. This is from November 2025 and has recently been completely checked and adjusted.
Blankets can also be taken over for a good price.
