Leisure horse / field companion / coach

Offered
Leisure horse / field companion

My sweet chestnut Riverside. He is 5 years old, 1.67m tall. (Valverde x Apache) Competed at L2 level and masters M exercises. Everyone who gets on him rides wonderfully, because he feels wonderful under the saddle! He knows hacks and is well-behaved at the farrier. He loves cuddling and grooming and travels really super easily! I take him everywhere by myself.

It is terribly annoying to have to place this ad. I bought Riverside as a foal, with the goal of competing him in higher-level dressage. He came in as a 3-year-old from youngstock rearing, was gelded and quietly backed. Only as a 4-year-old did he run a few outdoor competitions (immediately qualified for the championships within 3 competitions), after which he was given time again to grow and develop quietly. As a 5-year-old this summer he ran two more competitions, winning both of them.

Unfortunately, he has sustained a minor tendon injury in the paddock and is therefore no longer suitable for the higher-level sport/commerce that I have in mind myself.
He is not in pain, has no thick leg (the classic banana leg is absent) and has never been lame for a single step!!!!

This call is for someone who is looking for a well-behaved, sweet, fine and well-brought-up + educated horse. With a view to recreational/basic sport use. He could even make a good coaching horse because of his sweet character!!

Why am I offering him now? I am training multiple sport horses, Riverside is not my only horse. I do not want him to be alone in the field or in the stable all winter.
I wish Riverside someone who spoils him during his recovery, gets to know him well in the meantime and builds him up quietly (can even be ridden under saddle) to then enjoy life with him.
