PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE ADVERT
My sweet chestnut Riverside. He is 5 years old, 1.67m high. (Valverde x Apache) Competed at L2 level and masters the exercises of the M. Anyone who sits on him rides nicely, because he feels wonderful under saddle! He knows hacks out and is well-behaved at the farrier. He loves cuddling and grooming and travels really super easily! I take him everywhere by myself.
It is incredibly annoying to have to place this advert. I bought Riverside as a foal, with the aim of competing with him in higher dressage sports. He came in as a 3-year-old from youngstock rearing, was gelded and quietly backed. Only as a 4-year-old did he do a few outdoor competitions (immediately qualified for the championships within 3 competitions) after which he was given time again to grow and develop quietly. As a 5-year-old this summer he also did two competitions again, winning both of them.
Unfortunately he sustained a minor tendon injury in the paddock and is therefore no longer suitable for the higher sport/commerce that I have in mind myself.
He is not in pain, has no thick leg (the classic banana leg is missing) and has never been lame a single step!!!!
This call is for someone looking for a well-behaved, sweet, nice and well-mannered + educated horse. With a view to recreational / basic sports use. He could even make a good coaching horse because of his sweet character!!
Why am I offering him now? I train several sport horses, Riverside is not my horse. I do not wish for him to be alone in the paddock or in a stable all winter.
I wish for Riverside someone who pampers him during his recovery, gets to know him well in the meantime and builds him up quietly (can even be ridden under saddle) to then enjoy life with him.
For me the asking price is not important. Someone who falls in love with him during his recovery period can take him over just like that. Riverside deserves it! ❤️
