Roos – 5-year-old New Forest ster mare | D-pony 1.48 m | dressage and showjumping
Due to our daughter stopping equestrian sports, we are offering Roos for sale. Her official name is Roza’s Colinda. She was born on 1 May 2021 and has been in our possession since she was a foal.
Roos is a versatile New Forest mare measuring 1.48 m. She has been professionally backed and spent two years at a riding school. She already has official competition experience in showjumping at 60 and 70 cm, where she achieved three win points. She is suitable for both dressage and showjumping and easily jumps 1 meter at home and at the riding school. With us she has never refused once. A young pony with a fine attitude and plenty of potential for further training.
Also on hacking, Roos is exceptionally well-behaved and level-headed. She does not startle easily and goes out relaxed both alone and with other ponies. She is well-behaved with the farrier and is easily loaded onto the horse trailer.
As a foal, Roos became national foal champion in 2021 at the Central Mare Inspection of the Dutch New Forest Pony Studbook. In 2026 she achieved the ster predicate.
Her pedigree is Hattrick Collin × Kinou des Marronniers × Brandy XIII. Sire Hattrick Collin became performance champion with, among other things, a 9 for canter and an 8.5 for both dressage and showjumping aptitude. Dam Roza’s Marissa is a ster mare with 80 points for showjumping aptitude. Grandam Roza’s Emily is crown, preferent and prestatie pony.
Videos are available. You are very welcome to come and view and try out Roos by appointment.
