KFPS Friesian Colt Foal: Hertog-Jan (Nisse 544 × Dries 421 × Rypke 321)

reserved

We are proud to offer our beautiful, long-legged Friesian colt foal Hertog-Jan, born on 5 May 2026. This modern and very breed-typical foal is bred from a strong damline rich in predicates and holds great promise for the future.

Pedigree:
Sire: Nisse 544 AAA
Dam: Saryna J.H. Ster
Damsire: Dries 421 Sport
Dam's damsire: Rypke 321
Damline Rich in Predicates (Ster × Ster Sport Preferent)

Hertog-Jan is not just any foal, but is genetically very strongly anchored. His dam Saryna J.H. is a luxury Ster mare who has passed on her strong conformation and suppleness in movement.
She comes from a proven strain in which quality has been inherited generation after generation: her dam is a Ster Sport Preferent mare.
The coveted Preferent predicate proves that this line consistently passes on top quality and athletic ability.

Damsire Dries 421 Sport also brings extra willingness to work and sport performance, while Rypke 321 provides the classic breed appearance and a strong foundation.

Characteristics & Conformation:
Name: Hertog-Jan
Type: Modern, long-legged and correctly built with a beautiful front and expressive head.
Character: Friendly, very people-oriented, curious and level-headed.
Inbreeding percentage: Extremely low at just 1.17% (over 5 generations).
Kinship: Favourable percentage of 16.99%.
Status:
Officially KFPS registered.

Housing and upbringing:
Hertog-Jan is currently growing up in a quiet, social environment with his dam and another mare. This ensures he learns to communicate well with other horses. He is handled daily.

Due to his interesting bloodlines, impressive damline and low kinship, he will be a very interesting horse for both sport and breeding in the future.

We are looking for a loving, suitable home for this promising foal where he will be given all the time he needs to grow into a fantastic sport horse or leisure horse.

dam (in foal to Nisse) is optionally also for sale.

📍 Location: Friesland, Netherlands
