Vienna BS is an elegant, long-legged yearling mare with very good paces. She moves with great scope and suppleness, featuring a strong hind leg that steps well underneath. A mare with a lot of natural talent for dressage. In addition to her good paces, Vienna has an incredibly sweet and fine character. She is handled daily, easy to manage, and very well-behaved with the farrier.

Sire line – Sarai L
Sire Sarai L (Secret × For Romance I) was approved by the KWPN for dressage breeding in 2025. He is described as a long-legged, attractive stallion with great posture, shoulder freedom, and a strong hind leg stepping well underneath. At the NRPS, he earned a 9.5 for his uphill canter and nines for posture & balance and rideability/adjustability.

Through Sarai L, Vienna traces back to the successful dressage stallion Secret (by Sezuan × St. Moritz). In Schlieckau, he completed his dressage test with a final score of 9.5. During the Bundeschampionat in Warendorf, he received no less than four 10.0 scores for his rideability. As a five-year-old, he won silver at the World Breeding Dressage Championships for Young Horses. His offspring also stand out for their good paces, balance, suppleness, and rideability; several sons are licensed and descendants have progressed up to Small Tour level.

Dam line – Lady Cara line
On her dam's side, Vienna BS stems from the Lady Cara line, mare line 98, breeding family 705. A proven mare line where sport and breeding come together. In the immediate dam line, we find Nonja (preferent, prestatie, ster) and her daughter Wanda (keur, preferent, sport-dressage). In addition to dressage sport, Wanda has also proven herself as a broodmare. The KWPN-approved stallion Matiz (by Eebert) originates from this family branch. This dam line has therefore produced not only successful sport and predicate mares, but also an approved stallion.

With her elegant model, strong hind leg, spacious foreleg action, good paces, and fine character, Vienna is a promising mare for sport alongside an interesting dam line for breeding.
