With a dam that was herself internationally placed at 1.45m level under Denize van der Poel and a sire that achieved great success at the highest level, nothing stands in the way of this Wouw VDP growing into the next top performer from this branch of Holsteiner line 429 (Numero Uno, Bellinda, Dutch Capitol). Furthermore, dam Wiske has already produced the international 1.50m horse Discento (by Cardento) ridden by Felipo Godinho Marcondes and is found in the second generation behind the 1.40m-placed Hiske VDP (by Baltic VDL). The oldest offspring of the Olympic Cartello VDL, the half-brother of Cardento who won Grand Prixs and Nations Cup competitions under Darragh Kenny, are breaking through at 1.45/1.50m level.
