More about Loraya

Kantje's Loraya is a lovely, appealing mare with a sporty appearance and proven qualities. Her pedigree from the well-known Kantje's breeding program, fine attitude, and aptitude for showjumping make her an interesting pony for a rider who is serious about the sport. Moreover, she has also shown herself in the dressage arena, with a placing in M1. Recently, the emphasis has been on showjumping.

In showjumping, Loraya has already built up a fine competition record. With her previous rider, she is placed at 1.10 m level. Recently with her current rider she has also shown her qualities: during the LRV pony tournament in Herselt she achieved a fine second place in the D100.

Loraya fits best with a rider who already has some experience riding courses and remains active herself. Think for instance of a child who has already gained experience with a B pony in the course and is ready for the next step. For a very hesitant or completely inexperienced rider, she is less suitable.

Also during our video days, Loraya rode nicely. She was in season at that time, but nevertheless cooperated well. In daily handling she is a well-behaved and reliable mare. She is easy on hacks, both alone and in a group, and behaves nicely with the farrier, vet, and when clipped. She also gets along pleasantly with other ponies and horses.

In short, Kantje's Loraya is a high-quality sport pony with proven performances up to 1.10 m and great opportunities for the future. An interesting partner for an ambitious young rider who likes to ride actively and wants to grow further together in the sport!
