For Sale: Olieve Sinetty – 7-year-old Gelderland mare with quality and character
We are looking for a suitable new owner for Olieve Sinetty, barn name Ollie.
Ollie is a 7-year-old Gelderland mare measuring approximately 1.68–1.70 m. She is a sweet, honest yet sensitive mare with a very distinct character of her own. She has a lot of quality and potential, but requires a rider who is a truly good match for her.

Character
Ollie is sweet and affectionate. She loves a good cuddle and as soon as she sees you, she will often come over making soft whickering noises to see if you might have a treat for her. She is curious, people-oriented and truly enjoys attention. At the same time, Ollie is a sensitive horse. She senses her rider or handler down to the finest detail and easily absorbs tension and insecurity. Under saddle she is well-behaved. She does not buck or rear, but she certainly has a will of her own. Ollie is not suited for a beginner, nervous or insecure rider. She needs someone who is calm, consistent and self-confident.

Training
We purchased Ollie as a 3-year-old directly from the herd from the Hekkert family.
She is well-acquainted with groundwork. She responds nicely and sensitively to body language and cues, respects her handler's personal space and does not run you over. She can be ridden bitless. Under saddle she is well-behaved, but she is not yet 'finished'. She needs further training.

Movement and sport
Ollie is a robust yet slenderly built horse with plenty of presence and movement.
Her trot is more than good, with a lot of drive and power from the hindquarters. She has a firm, good walk. Her canter is currently less strongly developed and needs further training. We are convinced that with the right rider, Ollie has plenty of potential for sport.

Trailer and unfamiliar terrain
At home, Ollie generally loads well onto the horse trailer, although she still finds it exciting. Loading on unfamiliar terrain is difficult. In this regard, she needs someone who remains calm, takes their time but is also steadfast at the same time.

Health and background
When purchased as a 3-year-old, Ollie passed a clinical and radiological pre-purchase exam by a recognized vet. Ollie has never been lame and stands well for the farrier. In addition, Ollie visits the equine dentist annually.
Ollie comes from the Sinetty line of the Hekkert family from Wijhe. Ollie has 4 white legs, a nice blaze and a small white spot under her belly. Ollie's sire is Habanna and on her dam's side her grandsire is Cabochon. She comes from a damline featuring:
Sinetty, elite, sport (dressage), D-OC (Ollie's dam)
Minetty, ster, preferent, prestatie (grandam)
Gozinetty, ster (great-grandam)
Bazinitty, ster, preferent (great-great-grandam)
On the sire's side, the damline also includes multiple sport predicates (elite, sport (dressage), ster, prestatie and preferent).

Want to come and take a look?
Of course you are welcome to come and view Ollie and get acquainted with her, but only if you are seriously interested.
We also want to be clear about this in advance: we will not simply ride Ollie for you and we do not let every viewer ride her. Her welfare is our top priority. We want to prevent various unknown riders from hopping on her one after the other to 'try her out'. Ollie falls within a normal price range.
