For sale: Charmeur van de Rheehoeve – experienced and reliable dressage horse

With a heavy heart, I am offering my sweet gelding Charmeur van de Rheehoeve for sale. He was born on May 19, 2007 (19 years old) and is a descendant of Johnson. Height at withers 1.65m

Charmeur has competed at Z1 dressage in the past and has a good foundation. He knows many exercises and still enjoys being challenged in his work. He is currently still competing with my sharp rider, L2 +10, and will soon start in M1. He still really enjoys competitions and comes home with prizes.

He is an honest, sweet, and reliable horse, both in handling and under saddle. In addition, he enjoys going on outdoor rides; he does this in a relaxed manner and with pleasure.

Charmeur is good with the vet, physiotherapist, farrier, and dentist.

In 2018, Charmeur was X-rayed on his front legs, which was repeated in 2020 and 2024. This showed a mild form of osteoarthritis. In consultation with the vet, a treatment plan was drawn up at the time, consisting of roll-off shoes with cushioning. This manages the process well, and Charmeur suffers no hindrance from it in daily use.

We are looking for a true golden home for Charmeur, where he will still be ridden recreationally, receive plenty of attention, and where fine outdoor rides are enjoyed.
