Handsome, sweet, reliable D-pony mare with presence!
Description
Lieke (barn name: Lotus)
NRPS mare
8 years old
1.48 m (officially measured).
Classifications:
Dressage: L1+10
Showjumping: M+24
Eventing: L+3
Under saddle she is a nice, honest, willing pony who responds well to the aids. Not spooky or easily impressed. My daughter and Lotus are now L2 eligible to compete and recently concluded L1 with 191.5 and 197 points and regularly come home with prizes.
She is pleasant to handle and is kept at our home, enjoying the company of our other horses. Turned out during the day and stabled at night. In summer out on pasture day and night, weather permitting. My daughter was 13 and had riding school experience when we bought her.
Loading is super easy and she goes to club lessons twice a week. During lessons at the club she always behaves well; do other horses act up during the lesson? She pays no attention to that and carries on with what she is doing. When we go to a different venue for a competition, for example, she is not easily impressed and behaves well. If she spooks, she takes a step to the side, she is still a pony of course.
Lotus is traffic-safe and can go out on hacks both alone and in a group. She goes through water and went to pony camp this year.
For showjumping she needs an advanced rider who guides her and gives her confidence. She definitely has talent, because with her previous owner she competed at M+24 and was even champion in this class. She has also competed in a competition abroad.
However, for my daughter she is too sharp in showjumping.
Lotus needs an experienced, confident rider for showjumping who takes the lead and gives her confidence.
For my training with Emiel Voest, level 1, I worked a lot with her on loose-schooling and groundwork, she is also super good at this. She learns quickly and responds well to the aids.
Vaccinations, farrier, dentist, deworming etc. are all up to date.
In short, a sweet, versatile pony, well-behaved in dressage and hacking, but for showjumping an advanced rider is needed.
Clinically and radiologically approved (incl. back and neck) January 2025. Re-inspection is allowed at buyer's expense.
Dressage and jumping saddles and possibly other accessories are available for purchase at an additional cost.
We are looking for the right match and a nice new home and are not in a hurry.
She falls into the slightly higher price range.
